Join us for an informative chat with Nashoba Consulting, LLC (Natalie Landreth and Nada Culver, Co-Executive Directors, Tribal Public Lands Alliance)

Oil and gas planning and leasing remain a critical area of engagement to safeguard vulnerable BLM lands—including Areas of Critical Environmental Concern (ACECs) and lands with wilderness characteristics—that may be eligible for future conservation designations. This training will provide local advocates with an understanding of these critical processes and the confidence to engage strategically. We’ll explore:

  • How the oil and gas program is structured and how decisions move from RMPs to lease sales.
  • Where, when, and how grassroots advocates can intervene effectively.
  • How to utilize our new oil and gas lease sale scoping letter template to submit strategic scoping comments.
