“All lands are ancestral lands. I live and work in Washington, D.C., the unceded ancestral lands of the Piscataway, Pamunkey, Nentego (Nanichoke), Mattaponi, Chickahominy, Monacan, and Powhatan peoples. I hope this land acknowledgment inspires others to stand in solidarity with Native nations.”
