Anna Zawisza

Vice President of Development

About Anna Zawisza

Anna Zawisza (pronounced Za-vee-sha, pronouns she/her) is CLF’s Vice President of Development. She has been working in environmental conservation and stewardship since 2008, driving public engagement in outdoor volunteerism and leading multi-sector sustainability initiatives across Colorado. Anna spent seven years at the Alliance for Sustainable Colorado, the last two as their Executive Director. She then joined Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado where she served in multiple roles, the most recent as their Development and Outreach Officer.

Anna’s passion for environmental stewardship began early, fostered in part by her dad’s love of outdoor recreation, and her stepfather’s appreciation of nature and commitment to conservation. Building a meaningful connection between people and the natural world is key to Anna’s career and volunteering, including her service on the Board of Directors for Leave No Trace. Outside of work, Anna spends much of her time in Colorado’s outdoors with her husband Peter and their dogs Nina and Brody.
