About Alex Laskey

Alex Laskey was the president and founder of Opower (NYSE:OPWR) an industry-leading smart grid and energy efficiency software company that partners with utilities to engage their customers to drive large-scale, measurable and verifiable reductions in energy usage through a combination of behavioral science and data analytics.

To date, Opower has delivered more than $2 Billion in energy savings in partnership with more than 100 utilities in 16 countries.

Alex built Opower from a two person startup to a 600 person publicly traded company before selling it to Oracle.

Since Alex left Oracle, he has been focused on raising his three young children while beginning to explore new projects to improve the environment and address economic opportunity.

Alex is a Commissioner on the Energy Transitions Commission, advises the International Rescue Committee's Airbel Center for Innovation and is member of the board of directors at Arcadia Power.
