What We Learned During the Pandemic

The current COVID-19 pandemic has impacted our conservation community in countless ways, largely through affecting how we; connect with our communities, engage land stewards and advocates and highlight the importance of our nation’s public lands. Through all of this, community-based conservation organizations have been asked to step up and pivot to new modes of engagement, acquiring new skill sets and perspectives along the way. Join one of those groups, Get Outdoors Nevada, as they share their journey, the lessons and skills learned along the way, and most importantly, how this crisis has presented them with an opportunity to come out of this pandemic with new skills and perspective. As we begin to emerge from this pandemic, our communities and public lands will need us more than ever! Join us as we take this time to re-frame how we will serve our communities.
