Shevawn Bell
About Me
Shevawn has worked in the conservation nonprofit field for more than a decade. She strongly believes everyone has a story to tell, and she’s passionate about finding creative ways to bring those stories to life.
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Shevawn spent most of her life in Nevada. She had previously worked at organizations part of the Friends Grassroots Network including Friends of Black Rock-High Rock and Friends of Nevada Wilderness. She also worked with Get Outdoors Nevada and Patagonia to form the Nevada Outdoor Business Coalition.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and English (dual major) and a master’s degree in Journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno.
In 2019, she moved to Boise, Idaho where she currently resides. Shevawn spends most of her free time with her husband and their new son. She loves to camp, read, collect vinyl and see live music.
