On our November Friends Grassroots Network call,  Sarah Burak, Education Director at the Bears Ears Partnership (BEP), presented on her organization's Dark Skies Program. Participants learned about the steps the BEP took to designate the town of Bluff, Utah, as an International Dark Sky Community, what organizations can do to protect dark skies in their area, and how to create a Dark Sky Ambassador program for your organization.
