As the Founder and CEO of Breefly, Marcus is blazing new ground into the world of data reporting and insights socialization. Breefly® is a cloud based, insights reporting platform that transforms mundane data into actionable content briefs for teams.
Additionally, he has been nationally recognized by the American Marketers Association, the Art Director’s Club, and The Society of Publication Designers. In 2007, he was honored by the ADCOLOR® Industry Coalition as a Change Agent Award Recipient for his dedication to industry, diversity and community. He served on its Board of Directors until 2017, while also co-founding the ADCOLOR® Diversity & Inclusion Conference, the industry’s largest gathering of ethnic advertising, marketing, creative and technology professionals.
A true hybrid, Marcus maintains a unique, fresh blend of rich, urban life experience, honed by years of academic rigor and business acumen. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The Fashion Institute of Technology with continued graduate studies at the Daniels College of Business, University of Denver and Cornell University.
He is the author of the first ever multicultural advertising and marketing curriculums offered at the Academy of Art University and the Fashion Institute of Technology.
