Dave Welz
About Me
Dave Welz (pronoun: he) is CLF’s Communications Director. Dave joined CLF in 2014, and has more than 20 years of experience in communications and marketing. He has worked in corporate, agency and startup environments, and as a consultant, helping organizations refine and tell their story to help achieve their goals.
Dave served for 10 years on the board of Conservation Legacy, a national non-profit organization that operates conservation corps and individual placement programs, as it grew annual revenues by 36 times with proportional growth in the number of youth served by its programs.
Dave graduated from Colorado College and lives in Durango, Colorado. He loves to spend time floating rivers, hunting, skiing and exploring our National Conservation Lands and all of the West’s spectacular public lands–but especially the canyons and mountains of the Four Corners region.
