As we turn the page to a new chapter for America’s public lands‒because of your generous support‒ we are ready to seize the opportunities before us to protect millions of acres of public lands that are vital for recreation, maintaining the planet’s biodiversity, and the health of our communities and climate. Together with our 80-group-strong Friends Grassroots Network, we will:

  • Act boldly -We will move quickly to advance, seed and secure permanent protections for a dozen large landscapes of Bureau of Land Management lands across the West while championing change and elevating conservation within the agency.
  • Grow grassroots advocacy -We will grow our grassroots network, enhance the power of our community partners, hone their abilities and amplify their voices to maximum effect, marshaling the collective influence and strength of local voices in our Network to build a powerful movement for change at the national level.
  • Engage broad constituencies -We will build upon and expand our commitment to embracing and fostering equity, justice and access so that all people see themselves in their public lands and act to protect them.
