Stop the Senate From Selling Out Public Lands
Take action and send a message to the Senate asking them to remove funding cuts to public lands!
The House narrowly passed the budget reconciliation package - H.R. 1, the "One Big Beautiful Bill" Act - on May 22, 2025, and it now moves to the Senate for consideration. While our collective voices were able to successfully remove damaging language that would have sold off thousands of acres of public lands and mandated oil and gas lease sales in the Western Arctic, the bill still contains devastating provisions that would place deep funding cuts to the Bureau of Land Management and hand over public lands to Big Oil and other extractive industries at bargain prices.
The Senate has the power to remove these provisions, or add even worse amendments that could bring back public land sales and more. Join us to take immediate action to urge your Senator to eliminate harmful provisions and oppose any new amendments that would sell off and sell out our public lands.
