About Piedras Blancas Light Station Associatio

Piedras Blancas Light Station Association (PBLSA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization supporting the restoration, preservation, and interpretation of the cultural and natural resources of the Piedras Blancas Light Station. The offshore rocks surrounding Point Piedras Blancas are home to marine animals such as California sea lions, harbor seals and elephant seals. Gray whales, humpback whales, and bottlenose dolphins can often be seen. Sea otters forage along Point Piedras Blancas and wrap themselves in kelp to rest. Many bird species roost on the large offshore rocks.
