About New Mexico Wildlife Federation
New Mexico Wildlife Federation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting New Mexico’s wildlife, public lands and outdoor way of life now and for future generations. NMWF is the primary voice and advocate for New Mexico sportsmen and women in Congress, the state Legislature and the governor's office. NMWF is practical, solutions-oriented and successful at finding common ground with landowners and management agencies to produce results that benefit the outdoor enthusiast and help wildlife thrive. New Mexico’s first and most effective conservation advocate, NMWF has been protecting the rights and traditions of outdoor enthusiasts since its inception in 1914 by Aldo Leopold.
