Gavin Noyes
About Me
Gavin Noyes has spent the past two decades advancing land, water and wildlife conservation in Utah serving as Executive Director of non-profits including Save Our Canyons and Utah Diné Bikéyah (UDB). UDB leaders laid the political, spiritual, and scientific foundation for creation of Bears Ears National Monument beginning in 2010, then requested five sovereign nations to lead the effort forward in 2015. Bears Ears was protected by President Obama in 2016, was illegally reduced by 85% in 2017, and is again back in the national spotlight for restoration by President Biden.
Gavin was born and raised in Utah and holds degrees in natural resources, Japanese, and public policy and is committed to improving equity and justice as we tackle the large conservation challenges ahead. [email protected]
