About Friends Of The Carrizo Plain
Friends of the Carrizo Plain National Monument works to ensure that the Carrizo Plain National Monument remains preserved through providing an internationally recognized model of cooperative resource conservation. The Friends of the Carrizo Plain has a mission to support the managing partners in the education, interpretation and conservation of the unique resources of the Carrizo Plain National Monument. The organization works to foster trust between the Friends of the Carrizo Plain, the managing partners and the public, promotes the understanding of the unique resources to youth and adults, and works to leave a legacy of the Carrizo Plain National Monument for future generations.
