About Friends of Arizona Joshua Tree Forest
Friends of Arizona Joshua Tree Forest is a dedicated group of people who are working to protect the Grapevine Mesa-Joshua Tree Forest, the largest and densest forest of its kind in the world. One of the group’s goals is to protect and preserve the forest and its existing trails and roadways to be enjoyed by all, in the least invasive way. They are also working on providing informational materials, such as a history of the area, facts on the Joshua tree’s lifecycle and maps of the existing roads and trails for public use.
