While Oil and gas companies are sitting on nearly 10,000 UNUSED DRILLING PERMITS in the U.S., roughly 42 million MORE acres in 9 planning areas across the American West and Alaska are being swept up in the Interior Department’s race to open new public lands to drilling.

Selling-off the public’s access to priceless public-owned lands for oil and gas development makes ZERO moral or economic sense. We’ve got to keep fighting this public land giveaway.

Tell Congress: this is no time for business as usual.
