About Me
The Amargosa Conservancy works to ensure a sustainable future for the Amargosa River and Basin. We use strategies based in science, stewardship, and education. Science helps us to define why the Amargosa is such a unique and special place - irreplaceable if humans were to destroy it. Stewardship provides access to the area through trail building and ensures longevity of the species living there through restoration and ecological maintenance. Education helps us share the wonders Amargosa, advocate for its long-term protection, and rally support when threats arise.
